To provide a clear and concise procedure for optimizing images on the dashboard, ensuring all images are effectively compressed and saved for improved website performance. The goal is to achieve a 100% optimization score, maximizing productivity and accuracy in image management.

Key Steps

1. Access the Dashboard:

   • Log into the system and navigate to the dashboard section.

2. Locate the Image Optimization Score Block:

   • Identify the image optimization score block on the dashboard. This block provides a summary of the current image status.

3. Review Current Image Statistics:

   • Check the total number of images (e.g., 39,985 images).

   • Note the total size before optimization and the size after optimization.

   • Calculate the total MB saved (e.g., 5000 MB saved).

4. Analyze Optimization Metrics:

   • Identify the average size saved per image (e.g., 0.14 MB per image).

   • Review the number of images that have been optimized using automated methods (e.g., 3,297 images).

5. Initiate Image Optimization:

   • Click on the optimization link/button to access the image optimization settings.

   • Select the option to bulk optimize images, ensuring all images across the homepage, product pages, collections, and blogs are included.

6. Monitor Optimization Progress:

   • Keep track of the optimization process to ensure all images are processed successfully.

   • Look for any errors or issues that may arise during the optimization.

7. Verify Optimization Results:

   • After the optimization process is complete, return to the image optimization score block.

   • Confirm that the optimization score has reached 100%.

8. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Document the total number of images optimized and the total MB saved.

   • Prepare a report summarizing the optimization results for future reference.
