Meta tags : Bulk Operation
This article gives merchants an Idea about how they can run a bulk operation to edit meta tag and ALT text for the products in one go.
Facilitates the editing of meta tags for multiple products simultaneously.
Execution Steps:
Select products and click on "Bulk Edit" to open the settings module.
Define Meta-focus Keyword, Meta Title, and Meta Description, using variables like product title, vendor, type, shop name, store currency, etc.
Here I am mentioning some examples of how merchants can write the meta title and meta description:
1. Classic Formal Coat and pants Sets for Men
Meta Title:
“Classic Formal Coat & Pants Sets for Men - Dapper Elegance at ${storeName}”
Meta Description:
“Elevate your style with our formal coat and pants sets for men. Explore dapper elegance at ${storeName. Shipping is available to ${country_name}. Contact us at ${phone}. SKU: ${variantSku}”
2. Arctic Fox Wired USB Gaming Mouse
Meta Title:
Arctic Fox Wired USB Gaming Mouse - Elevate Your Gaming Experience.
Meta Description:
“Enhance your gaming setup with ${title}. Available at ${storeName}, this high-performance mouse offers precision and style. Free Shipping to ${country_name}. Contact us at ${phone}. Choose from versatile ${variantOption1} ${variantOption2} ${variantOption3} for all your digital needs.Edit Image Alt Text for multiple products.
Run the bulk operation and monitor the status (Completed, Partially Completed, Failed) in the Bulk Operation tab.
View detailed reports on operations including the type of operation, selected fields, and values.
NOTE: Depending on the Base plan the merchant has, there is a limit on the number of products for which the merchant can edit the Meta title, description, and Image alt text.
Example - If the merchant has a base plan of $14.99/month then there is a capping of 1000 Products only above thousand merchants can not edit the product. If a merchant wants to edit the product further above caping then need to upgrade the plan accordingly.
